Manvi Singh
UNHRC - Chairperson
In the nascent span of her 14 years, Manvi presents an enigma, elusive to self-definition but resolute in her aspirational pursuits. A visionary, she traverses inconceivable realms, having once assumed the dual mantle as delegate for both Russia and Ukraine across distinct committees – a testament to her audacious spirit. An incessant creator, endowed with an affliction for perfection, she orchestrates meticulous reconstructions, deeming no task beyond personal refinement.
Manifesting an unwavering allegiance to her motherland, India, she stands as its staunch advocate. With an unwritten ethos of purpose, every fleeting second is an indispensable investment in her relentless commitment to global welfare. Notably, during the crucible of academic obligations, she exemplifies her ethos by spearheading a humanitarian aid program for Gaza, unveiling a commitment that eclipses the exigencies of personal examinations.
Her worldview, predicated upon an embrace of divergent perspectives, shuns the pallor of uniformity, deeming monotony the zenith of ennui. In her lexicon, the efficacy of vocalization transcends mere functionality; it is the crucible where improvement is forged. A fervent advocate for the cacophony of opinions, she propounds the notion that every uttered syllable constitutes an indelible impact – a paradigm realized only when articulated with precision and purpose.
Manvi's voracious appetite for scholastic pursuits is, to the uninitiated, a source of consternation. Undertaking collegiate-level courses in diplomacy while yet in the 9th grade, she exhibits an unquenchable thirst for knowledge that defies conventional expectations. Her age, an inconspicuous metric in her intellectual mettle, belies her innate proclivity for acquiring erudition beyond conventional boundaries.
Championing individuality, she extols the intrinsic value of creative ingenuity over algorithmic precision. While her reservations towards artificial intelligence linger, her paradoxical ardor for technology propels her into the captaincy of her school's robotics team, coupled with prestigious selections for significant tech events at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
In a paradoxical dance between humility and relentless pursuit, Manvi, despite accolades and acclaim, remains steadfast in her conviction that culmination is a fallacy. As voices in her periphery admonish restraint with the refrain "Bas kar, Manvi" (Enough, Manvi), she, with unwavering resolve, echoes the resounding refrain of perpetuity, for, in her creed, there exists no terminus. "Wavering that manvi kabhi bas nahi kar sakti" ( she can defo never stop).
